Additional information

 

If the are diferences between the samples and the listed options, the samples are classified and their costs are calculated and communicated to the beneficiary after establishing the number of blocks and the complexity of the sample.

 

If the possible rate cannot be established from the beginning of the analysis, the smallest rate will be charged and the final price will be communicated to the beneficiary after the sample has been put into operation, based upon, but not limited to: sample type, special staining, number of blocks, additional cuts, reorientations.

 

The type and number of antibodies put into operation and the cost of the analysis are decided by the anatomopathologist in regards to specifying either a positive or a differential diagnosis, but the the antibody panel can be requested by the attending physician when prognosis markers or markers that can influece the therapeutic choice are involved.
